Bob Hall starts off 2007 with killer wheel stands Nitro Coupe winner Buddy Farmer and crew Buddy took his '03 Corvette Nitro Coupe to a big win Willie Brainerd took a big jump in the Aeromotive Nitro Coupe Challenge with a runner-up finish Zach Barklage didn't make the Nitro Coupe finals, but he did rip off a Monster 6.12 second run, one of the fastest Nitro Coupe passes on record.
Mark Mullen of Bradenton took the ProCharger Bracket One Final Dave Scigliuto of Seminole, FL had a good weekend with a TREMEC Bonus Race win and a runner-up in Bracket One Edgewater, FL racer James Thompson took the Bracket Two race, sponsored this year by Jeg's Speaking of having a good weekend, Cara Wilson of Plant City, FL runner-upped in both Bracket Two and Saturday's Bonus Race Cara's Chevy S-10 has "Better than Barbie" on the windshield
Chris Adams of Bradenton took the DOT title at his home track Shane McFadden of Longwood, FL had to settle for the DOT Runner-Up plaque and not the big trophy What a great field in the bracket race, including this vintage D-Gasser Drivers aren't the only ones concentrating; Dina Parise and the rest of the Tweaked Ya racing team raced in Bradenton instead of staying in the snow of their native New York.  Makes sense to us. What a great treat for Bradenton Super Chevy race fans as some TREMEC Car Show Series cars made a pass down the race track
Bradenton fans got to meet the Aeromotive Nitro Coupes up close and personal Ken Hall, pilot of the Top Secret jet Funny Car, before blast-off Top Secret ready to go Here's a look at Paul Miller before they put the body down on the Blaze of Glory jet Funny Car When the jets fire up at a Super Chevy Show, you will pay attention
Aeromotive also sponsors the Saturday Special "Best Engine" award, won by Jay Bernard, Palm Harbor, FL, and his '69 El Camino Ron Menda of Sarasota, FL, won the Saturday "Best Interior" with this cool '47 Chevy George & Linda Keel of Spotsylvania, VA, won the Featherlite Trailer "Transport" Award with this '34 Chevy Congratulations to the ISCA Car of the Show for Bradenton, this '62 Vette of Gerald Copeland from Tifton, GA The Saturday "Outstanding 4 x 4" went to Jeff Struthers of St. Pete Beach, FL, and this '00 Tahoe
How cool is this '55 Chevy owned by Ken Knaphel of St. Petersburg, FL.  It took the "Outstanding Classic Truck" sponsored by Classic Parts of America Rod Nance of Port St. Lucie, FL owns this '59 Chevy Impala which won the "Outstanding Custom Rod" sponsored by National Parts Depot This slick '67 Vette won the Saturday "Best Detail".  It's owned by John Low of W. Palm Beach, FL.  This 'Vette is also the Bradenton semi-finalist for Car Show Top 10 Car of the year. Tom Calvarley came to Florida from Fredericksburg, VA with this '69 Camaro and won the "Best Modified' sponsored by The Right Stuff Detailing Tim Childers of, Cumming, GA 'took the Saturday "Best Paint" award with his 67 Chevelle en route to a "Best in Show" on Sunday
Mike Haynes of Valdosta, GA, won" Best Stock" with this '69 Camaro The '69 Camaro of Harold & Sandra Johnson of Powder Springs, GA took the Saturday "Best Street" prize Jerry Lavalette's '32 Ford with a Chevy engine lives in Palm Harbor, FL and won "Outstanding Street Rod" sponsored by Mr. Gasket Ronnie Staples lives in Bradenton and owns this '50 Chevy which won the Saturday "Outstanding Workmanship" award sponsored by Racing Communications David Shue of Sarasota, FL, receives his TREMEC "Trick Stick" Award from TREMEC's Jim Averill
Larry Dietz of Sarasota owns this wonderful '55 Nomad which won the "Best 55-56-57 Chevy"  sponsored by Trim Parts This '59 Impala took the "Best Big Car" award for Rod Nance of Sarasota. Thanks to Soffseal for sponsoring the class Best of breed for Chevelles in Bradenton was this '70 model owned by Marlene White of Sarasota. Original Parts Group are the class sponsors How do you improve on an '04 GTO?  Put a Chevy engine in it.  John Howell of Port Richey, FL did so and won the "Best Conversion" sponsored by Auto City Classic Glass He's been there and done that before. Chalk up another "Best Corvette" win for John Low of W. Palm Beach, FL.

The Open class is for any Chevy without a class of its own, like this '06 Cobalt owned by Kenneth Pochis of Dunnellon, FL Ken Knaphel of St. Petersburg, FL. took the Sunday "Best Truck" award sponsored by Classic Parts of America and Classic Performance Products
 
Thanks to Aeromotive for sponsoring the Sunday "Best Pro Street/Engineered" award won by Tom Calvarley of Fredericksburg, VA Ronnie Staples of Bradenton won the prestigious "Award of Excellence" with this ultra-cool '50 Chevy   There can only be one TREMEC Car of the Show.  In Bradenton, it was this '67 Chevelle owned by Tim Childers Tim gets his BIG trophy from Jim Averill of TREMEC
