PACIFIC STREET CAR ASSOCIATION TO PROVIDE SOME “HEADS UP” RACING AT BANDIMERE SUPER CHEVY SHOW

Some of the fastest door-slammers of the west will take center stage at the upcoming Super Chevy Show at beautiful Bandimere Speedway this August 17-18. The Pacific Street Car Association (PSCA) will give the Denver race fans a taste of some exciting heads-up racing with their Hot Street and Outlaw 10.5 classes for the first time.

What’s just as cool is the PSCA’s marketing partners have waived any tech fees and class fees to help make this happen and bring these racers to Bandimere for the Super Chevy Show. Think of this as “test marketing” for the local race fans as this will be a trial run to see if a full-blown PSCA/Street Car Super Nationals event for 2013 will be well received among Colorado drag racing enthusiasts.

The purse for the two PSCA classes will be announced at a later date. Sanctioning president Mel Roth feels this is a great opportunity for PSCA, its racers, and its Colorado-based fans. “We can’t thank the folks at Bandimere Speedway and our sponsors who are supporting this event enough,” Roth said. “We’ve seen nothing but positive things from the fans in the area and we’re hearing that they want to see a PSCA or Super Street Car Nationals event there next season.”

After seeing these awesome cars doing battle on the strip, we can’t see why they won’t be back!
