NORWALK , Ohio (June 11, 2010) — Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park is one of the most-noted drag racing strips in the country and that wasn’t lost on competitors who came out in droves on Friday for the first day of the Micky Mart Rewards Super Chevy Show presented by Donald M. Graham and Associates.
The event, which is the fourth race of the 10-event Super Chevy Show 30th anniversary season, features both sportsman and a pro show drag racing, a car show, swap meet and just pure fun.
Friday’s activities included a test-n-tune for sportsman racers and competitors showed in large numbers, filling up both sides of the track. There were also a solid amount of vendors setting up for the swap meet, which will be held Saturday and Sunday. Micky Mart Rewards also began setting up its display for the weekend show.
Several racers withstood an early rain to put on quite a display on track during the test-n-tune, and more high performances are expected the rest of the weekend, as well as the ever-pleasing car show, which gives fans a view of some of the best show cars in the country.
Saturday’s schedule includes a bonus sportsman drag race,
It’s a match made in heaven.
