ENNIS, Texas (April 30, 2013) – The popular one-day event at Texas Motorplex will offer crowd-pleasing Autocross again at the Super Chevy Show presented by Chevrolet Performance, this weekend May 3 – 4, 2013.

The North Texas Camaro Club (NTCC) specializing in ’67 – ’69 first generation Camaros, are always a big presence at the action-packed Saturday event, and is the reigning Club Participation winner from 2012, with over 25 cars in attendance.

Looking for ways to continue the Super Chevy Shows success in the Dallas region for years to come, the active Camaro club insisted that autocross be a part of the event again in 2013. In order to ensure the solo agility activity, members and autocross enthusiasts Frank Manzare of the NTCC and owner of Statewide Remodeling along with Jay Deluca of Monarch Sales Advisors are sponsoring autocross for 2013.

“As autocross enthusiasts Jay and I wanted to be involved, and help out any way we could. I’ll have my ’71 and ’12 ZL1 Camaros and Jay will have his ’69 and we’ll be taking as many passes as possible. We really just hope a bunch of people will come out and have as much fun with it as we are,” said Manzare.

The relationship between the lively North Texas Camaro Club and Texas Motorplex continues to strengthen with support for the Super Chevy Show by reaching out to other local Chevy clubs to help make the event thrive and grow as the premier Chevrolet event in North America.

“We appreciate Texas Motorplex for hosting the Super Chevy Show and we are excited that the event is growing with more cars we bring out every year,” noted Manzare.

“Frank and the entire North Texas Camaro Club are exactly why we have the Super Chevy Show events each year,” Texas Motorplex General Manager Gabrielle Stevenson said. “The are so passionate about cars and the history of great America vehicles and it’s exciting to have them support the show. This year they have helped us organize an autocross course with Statewide Remodeling and Monarch Sales Advisors, and it’s just one more way to show off the power and muscle of the Chevy and GM brands.”
