Test-n-Tune highlights opening day at Kansas Super Chevy Show
TOPEKA, Kan. (June 18, 2010) — They are off and running at Heartland Park Topeka.
The Kansas Super Chevy Show presented by Rick Hendrick’s Superior Chevrolet opened in grand fashion Friday, welcoming high car counts in both the Test-n-Tune and registration for the eye-pleasing car show.
The Test-n-Tune, always a favorite among racers at all Super Chevy Shows, was popular on Friday, with racers making trial runs between 4-10 p.m. at Heartland Park Topeka, considered by many as one of the finest drag strips in the country. There was a solid turnout for car show participants, who couldn’t wait to make a trek to the heart of the Midwest.
“We are very excited about becoming the title sponsor of the Super Chevy Show,” said Mike McGinley, Superior Chevrolet vice president and executive general manager. “We are honored to be selling the best built brand on the road today, Chevrolet, and we’re excited about being part of the biggest Chevy event in the Midwest this summer.
