The Mickey Mart Rewards Super Chevy Show Presented by Donald M. Graham & Associates features eight nostalgia Fuel Altered race cars that run on nitromethane. This class of race car, a throw back to the 1960s, runs at over 220 mph in the quarter mile. The cars have a short wheelbase, resulting in a hard-to-handle vehicle that is banned from competition in other sanctioning bodies.
In addition, the Super Chevy Show will include a judged car show, the Shoebox Shootout featuring 1960 and older full-body Chevy cars in quarter-mile drag racing, a car corral, sportsman drag racing, a swap meet and the Performance and Restoration Marketplace. Les Shockley will be driving his twin-jet powered 1957 Chevrolet truck, named Super Shockwave.
Gates open at 8:00 am each of the three days. Adult spectator tickets are $12 Friday, $20 for Saturday or Sunday, or $40 for a three-day pass. Children six to 12 years of age are $5 per day or $10 for a three-day pass. Children five and under are free. The Mickey Mart Rewards Super Chevy Show Presented by Donald M.
